Happy Friday friends! Let’s celebrate with some #f Happy Friday friends! Let’s celebrate with some #fridayintroductions and #7quicktakes #sevenquicktakes This week has felt heavy in so many ways. My heart is hurting with the passing of a loved one and I have been spending more time in quiet with the Lord to process the grief. 💔The Lord has been probing my heart while reaffirming my mission: to pursue what is good, true and holy. He has pushed me to really spend more time reflecting on so many areas of my life, my thoughts, and my heart. These questions have been coming up this week. 🩷 1) Where is my life unbalanced? - what in my life is taking up too much space and time? Where can I let go of extra weight in my schedule to create more peace in my life? 🩷 2) What do I need? -not want but really need? Can I trust that the Lord has my needs covered? 🩷 Can I free my hands and heart of those worries? 3) Where is the Lord leading me? -am I willing to follow or do I struggle with control? Can I be led without having to know where I am headed? 🩷 4) Am I serving with my gifts? - Am I aware of my gifts? Do I look for ways, in humility, to offer what comes easy to me? 🩷 5) Where are the helpers in my life? - who is the Lord putting before me in this season? Am I open to allowing someone else to charitably serve me?🩷 6) Do I embrace silence and order? - Do I avoid quiet and the opportunity to sit with the Lord? Do I pursue chaos over order because it is easier? 🩷 7) Am I present to others? - Do others get my undivided attention? Am I able to be present to where I am physically? 🩷 These are great questions for us to pose to ourselves as we go into this long weekend. Are any of these questions speaking to you? Can we lean into the quiet and allow the Lord to g Can we lean into the quiet and allow the Lord to grow our hearts for Him? When we embrace sadness and grief, the Lord always has a plan for our good. He makes beauty from wounded areas of our hearts and minds. Maybe you need more prayer time and that window of opportunity is there if you accept it. Don’t rush to fill this time. Allow the Holy Spirit to guide you.
